Net Worth Tracker is an iPhone app in private development by Stefan Raghavan under Entraced. There is no public signup, and live brokerage connections have not yet been enabled.
This notice covers the prototype and its project pages. It describes the current handling of manually entered information and the planned handling of connected account data. We will update it as the integration changes and before offering the app to other users.
Information used by the app
The prototype stores assets, liabilities, valuations, ownership details, and information entered or imported by its owner. It uses that information to calculate net worth, show allocations, and preserve financial history.
When account connections are enabled, Plaid Investments will provide information from authorized accounts, such as account names and types, balances, holdings, quantities, values, currencies, and available valuation dates. The integration is read-only: it does not initiate payments, transfer assets, or place trades.
Plaid and account authorization
Connections will use Plaid Link and the financial institution’s authorization flow. Net Worth Tracker does not store brokerage passwords. Encrypted connection tokens will allow the app to retrieve updates until access is disconnected or revoked.
Plaid processes information under its own End User Privacy Policy. Disconnecting the app does not itself delete information held by Plaid or the financial institution.
Storage and access
The private prototype stores information on its owner’s devices and development systems. A hosted private backend is planned but has not been deployed. When enabled, it will store connected account information, with a local app cache for offline use.
The implementation includes encryption of provider tokens, iOS file protection, Keychain storage for app sessions, and an optional device authentication lock. These are specific implementation controls, not a claim that every stored record is separately encrypted or independently certified.
Use and disclosure
Financial information is used for tracking and operating the app. It is not sold or rented, or used for advertising. Plaid and any enabled hosting or authentication providers process information needed to provide their services.
Optional property and vehicle valuation features may send the relevant property or vehicle details to a valuation provider when enabled. Those integrations are not currently connected.
Retention, export, and deletion
Saved values and historical snapshots remain until explicitly deleted. Disconnecting an account stops future retrieval while preserving existing history unless that history is separately removed.
Export, disconnect, and deletion controls are implemented in the prototype. Hosted-backend controls depend on that backend being configured. Deleting backend records and clearing device copies are separate actions; exported files, backups, and provider-held records also require separate handling. Contact us for help with a data request.
Visiting these project pages
These pages are hosted on Vercel and include Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand visits and page performance. These services may process technical information such as the visited URL, referrer, device and browser information, approximate location, and performance measurements. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information and privacy policy.
These project pages do not provide a bank connection form or collect brokerage credentials. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Please do not email passwords, access tokens, or account statements.
